Everyone in the forestry, wood manufacturing, competitive manufacturing industries has the right to participate and contribute to the TRoQ process. FITEC wants to hear your views so will be looking at many different ways of doing this. We have set up web pages with information about TRoQ and will keep in regular contact with all stakeholders.
Governance and advisory groups will be established for each industry sector. The governance groups will provide strategic guidance on the need for the qualification and industry requirements for pathways. The advisory groups will focus on the detailed content of qualifications.
If you are interested in being involved in the governance or advisory groups for your sector please email troq@fitec.org.nz
We will keep in regular contact with all industry stakeholders on progress. Outside of the official governance and advisory groups we will be sending an industry wide e-newsletter with updates and developments throughout the TRoQ process. Through this, all stakeholders can communicate their views which will be fed back to the various committees.
If you wish to receive these e-newsletter communications please email troq@fitec.org.nz
The first meetings were held in November and December to introduce TRoQ to the different industry sectors and to form governance groups that will lead the review process for the qualifications relating to their sector.
