Specific dates are still to be confirmed with NZQA. However forestry and wood manufacturing should start in Quarter 2, 2012, competitive manufacturing in Quarter 1, 2012.

Within 3 months a plan should be submitted to NZQA. The entire process is expected to take a total of 9 months (from plan to qualification registration). NZQA have warned that any failure to meet this timeline without reasonable explanation may result in the status of the qualification(s) on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) being changed to 'expiring'. At this stage we anticipate being able to meet these timelines.
