What is the New Zealand Trade Academy?
- A new opportunity for senior secondary school students to experience working in the primary industries
- Combines senior secondary classroom study with on the job learning
- National Certificate credits count towards NCEA
- Parallel academic and vocational learning, adaptable to individual students
- 1 day per week in the workplace in Year 11 to up to 3 days in Year 13
- A joint initiative of high schools, primary industry training organisation and employers
